2023 Gladstone Food Pantry Drive

On March 1, 2023, several board members of our Gladstone  Pickleball Club delivered our collection of over 200 lbs. of nonperishable food items, along with monetary donations exceeding $1,350 to the Gladstone  Food Pantry.  Last year we collected $540; this  year we set a goal of $1000, and we surpassed it.    Thank you to everyone who donated to this food drive.  The  generosity of our members year in and year out is what makes GPC a large  part of the Gladstone Community.  Pickleball  players are the best, and Gladstone Pickleball players are just plain  special.  Thanks to you all!  

As  a thank you to Gladstone Christian Church for offering their parking  lot for our upcoming tournament, GPC members spent the morning doing  some landscaping.  Thank you to Lisa for organizing the event to all who came to volunteer their time.  Thank you so much to  Brian, Bart, Dan, Mike & Mike, Connie, Colleen, Joyce, Herb, Mary  Lynn, Patty, Steve, Lorna, Kristin, Jeanie, and Gene.  What a hard  working group.  As we all know, Gladstone Pickleballers are the best!!

At long last, after nearly a year of planning and fund raising and working with the City of Gladstone, eight brand new pickleball courts officially opened to the public and were immediately put to full use!
