Gladstone Pickleball Club 2025 Membership Information

For our 2025 Membership Signup, we will again be using Cheddar Up, which is a company that allows us to complete the membership form, sign the waiver, and pay the annual dues all online using a credit card or an e-check.

Membership dues  for the 2025 calendar year are $35.00/member.

If you don’t sign up by March 1, you will be REQUIRED to pay the $5 drop-in fee and sign a waiver (required by the city) each day you play until you become a member. On March 1, we will also be changing the code for the lock boxes, and until you become a 2025 member, you will not have access to this code.

To get started, please click the Pay Now button below or scan the QR Code below. This will take you to our Cheddar Up website, where you will purchase an individual membership to GPC. From there, follow the instructions: complete the Membership Form and sign the Waiver, before checking out and paying your $35 dues via a credit card or an e-check. You will then receive a receipt via email. You do NOT have to set up an account and can check out as a guest.

GPC General Membership Information

Important Notice:

ANYTIME a nonmember  is at our courts, and using any of our equipment, they need to pay the  $5 drop-in fee and sign a waiver (required by the city) each day they play.

If you're not sure, it’s okay to ask players if they are members; it’s why we  supply name tags. Players with their own equipment/balls can play AFTER our club time and anytime on Sundays without paying the $5 drop-in fee.

As a courtesy to our next door neighbors, we ask that all members only park on the park side of the street. Please do not park in front of the houses across the street.

If you are new to the club, ask about:

  • Opening and locking the two equipment lockers (see below)
  • Correct way of setting up and taking down the nets
  • How the paddle queue works
  • Court etiquette (see below)

Club membership provides:

  • Play during Club hours, 9:00 a.m. - noon, Monday thru Saturday. Use of Gladstone Pickleball Club equipment will be limited until after 9:00 a.m. each morning. Please do not set up nets or begin play with club equipment before that time.
  • Access to the Club's two lockers, containing nets and balls and the Lost & Found/AED/First Aid locker. You can then come and set up a net and play to your heart's content seven days a week after 9:00 a.m.
  • Connection to the "Group Me" app so you can set up your own games or check with other Club members for play times, court conditions, etc.
  • Emails of announcements, news, and events.
  • Livestream of court conditions and play.

A word about opening and closing...

How to open the courts for morning play

  1. Unlock both  orange storage lockers, where nets, balls, paddle queues, etc., are stored, using the lock box combination (provided to members only).
  2. Unlock the black Lost & Found/AED/First Aid storage locker.
  3. Remove the keys and unlock the padlocks at both ends of the storage lockers.
  4. IMMEDIATELY RETURN THE KEYS TO THE LOCK BOXES (keys are not needed to lock the storage lockers).
  5. Hang the key on the hook at the back of the lock box.  It will jam the lock box door if left on the floor of the lock box.
  6. You MUST re-enter the lock box combination to slide the latch down to close the door.
  7. Set up nets and put up ball holders.
  8. Put out the paddle queues.
  9. Put out the DROP-IN BOX.

How to close the courts at the end of the day

 Before the last person leaves:

  1. Take down all nets and store nets and ball holders in the orange lockers.
  2. Return the queue box(es) to the orange lockers.
  3. Put the DROP-IN BOX in the orange lockers.
  4. PUSH IN BOTH LOCKS ON BOTH ORANGE LOCKERS (you may have to sit on the locker lid to lock it) and on the BLACK LOST AND FOUND/AED/FIRST AID locker.
